Tourist sites in Isère: La Mure : le Musée Matheysin

Installed in the oldest building of La Mure, the museum tells you, from rich collections, the history of the Matheysine and its men: archaeology and the wars of religion precede the rooms devoted to the miners, farmers, glove makers and peddlers. The end of the tour presents artists who left their mark on the region: Claude Garanjoud (1926-2005), Olivier Messiaen (1908-1992)...

Open from April 1st to September 30th, temporary exhibition Panoramatheysine, images of the Little Train of La Mure until the end of September 2022.
