Living in solitude and silence, the Carthusians cannot open their monastery to visitors. But what is their history? How does a Carthusian live today?

The Correrie de la Grande Chartreuse, a French museum, formerly home to the Carthusian brothers, is dedicated to documenting their life and history through a renewed exhibition entitled "Chartreux, Silent Watchers."

Find our cultural program on our website.

Open from March to November.
