The museum has just had a makeover!

Living in solitude and silence, the Carthusian monks cannot open their monastery to visitors. But what is their history? How does a Carthusian live today?

The Correrie de la Grande Chartreuse, a museum of France, former home of the Carthusian brothers, is dedicated to testifying to their life and their history through a renewed scenography
"Chartreux, silent watchers".

From June 11 to November 6, come and discover our exhibition Antoine Sublet (1821-1897), painter at the service of the Carthusian monks.

Find our cultural program on our website.

Open from Saturday April 9th to Sunday November 6th 2022.
