Morestel, a town with 4 flowers in the national classification of towns and villages in bloom, offers its visitors picturesque and colorful medieval streets and an incomparable light. This atmosphere seduced many painters, including François-Auguste Ravier in the 19th century. His house now houses a museum labeled "Maison des Illustres". The artistic tradition has continued in Morestel, commonly called the "City of Painters".
Also to be discovered: the Sunday market - the ViaRhôna.
